This event is held annually in an effort to recognize people that have made a significant contribution to G-ROC, either financially or by volunteering. It is normally held the first week in October at the Truman Kimbro Convention Center, Madisonville, Texas.
A kickoff to celebrate the beginning of the school year. This event is held at the G-ROC Community Center located at 131 South Hall Street, Normangee, Texas. There are water slides, bounce houses, sports, carnival games, dunk tank, and food… ALL FREE! This event is held annually on the 2nd Saturday in August.
An annual festive celebration at the G-ROC community center with free food and shopping, which is usually held the 2nd Saturday in December. This is when participants get to shop using their Bingo Bucks earned at the monthly birthday parties bingo, by volunteering throughout the year, etc.
All money raised is in support of The Leroy Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund.
For adults born in that month, a celebration is held at the G-ROC Community Center, located at 131 South Hall Street, Normangee, Texas (please see the calendar for party listings). Bingo is played and for anyone wishing to participate the cost is only $5.00 for unlimited games all night. Each time players bingo they receive $20.00 in Bingo Bucks, which is accumulated and used to purchase AMAZING gifts at our Annual Christmas Party the 2nd Saturday in December. Individuals celebrating birthdays will receive Bingo Bucks equivalent to their age. Attendees can also earn extra Bingo Bucks by bringing a dish or dishes to the party.
G-ROC is now offering ceramic art classes twice a month on Saturdays, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. There is a large selection of ceramic pieces, as well as plaster. We have something for everyone….those who likes detailed pieces as well as individuals who are just beginning. Please check our calendar to see when classes are being offered.
Let G-ROC do all the work for you! That’s right, you can now book a party package at the G-ROC Community to have your child’s unique art birthday party, and we will do everything for you. Included in the package is community center rental, 12 pieces of art (your choice for girls/boys) plus paint and brushes, birthday cake, hot dogs/chips/drinks and decoration. Additional pieces of art can also be purchased at a reduced price if you have more than 12 kids. Also, if you would like for us to bring the art to your house or another location, The Traveling Picasso will be delighted to accommodate your needs.
